“Parasite” Actor Choi Wooshik To Be Able To Attend The Academy Awards
Parasite actor Choi Wooshik will officially attend the 92nd Academy Awards!
Previously, he was not expected to be attending the prestigious awards show because it conflicted with the filming of his new movie, The Divine Fury, and the promotions of his soon-to-be released movie, Time to Hunt.
It was reported on February 5 that he will, in fact, be able to attend due to the consideration of the The Divine Fury staff members who made last-minute changes so that he would not miss the historic opportunity.
He will depart from South Korea on February 9 as the Academy Awards will be held the next day. He reportedly plans on returning to South Korea shortly after in order to resume filming for The Divine Fury.
Parasite has been nominated for six categories in the Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
