Taeyeon Scolds Red Velvet’s Manager For Forcing Them To Diet

Taeyeon is an icon in the world of K-Pop. Aside from being a member of one of the most popular K-Pop girl groups, she’s also known for her gorgeous visuals, beautiful vocal colors, and for being the best unnie.

Several years ago, during an appearance with Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and Wendy, the trio went out for ice cream.

Unfortunately, at some point, Seulgi and Wendy noticed their manager watching them from a distance. Feeling awkward about being watched and possibly worried about being scolded for not maintaining their diet, the girls began to slow down on their eating.

After catching the manager watching Seulgi and Wendy, Taeyeon took it upon herself to defend the girls, kindly but firmly scolding the manager for making them feel uncomfortable.

They can’t breathe because of you. Eating what they want for one day shouldn’t be a problem.

Although the girls’ manager was just doing their job—a very stressful one at that—it is very admirable of Taeyeon for doing the right thing and speaking up in defense of her hoobae.
