Some idols, like IU, work hard to escape poverty or so they can pay back their families for the support they received over the years.
On the other end of the spectrum, there are idols we were born into wealthy families. Being born rich, of course, doesn’t negate the effort they put in toward achieving their dreams.

Sooyoung‘s grandfather owns an architectural company, so her family owns (at least) two houses.
2. 2PM’s Nichkhun
Nichkhun‘s mom is the CEO of Union Medical, which is a leading pharmaceutical importer and distributor in their home country of Thailand.
3. Super Junior’s Siwon
Siwon‘s dad is the former CEO of Boryung Medicine, a pharmaceutical company.
4. EXO’s Suho
Suho has previously stated publicly that he comes from a wealthy family.
5. Jung Ill Woo
Actor Jung Il Woo‘s grandpa was a doctor who attended to a former President of South Korea.
