Haechan Will Officially Be Making His Debut With NCT U
On December 2, 2019, SM Entertainment revealed that NCT U would be releasing an SM Station song on December 13. The members involved in the project are Taeil, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Haechan.
The song will be a slow-tempo R&B ballad with a sweet guitar sound. The track is done in collaboration with UNICEF and is meant to focus on the themes of “winter” and “love.”
Upon hearing the news of the SM Station, people started freaking out. Though Haechan is part of NCT 127 and NCT Dream, he has not participated in an NCT U track until now. Many are seeing this as Haechan’s debut into the U unit.
After hearing the news, the term “Haechan” started trending on Twitter, with people supporting the idol’s third debut in an NCT unit.
