Choi Jong Hoon Files An Appeal For His Five Year Sentence
Choi Jong Hoon, along with Jung Joon Young and Kwon Hyuk Joon, was sentenced to prison after their first trial. Choi Jong Hoon was sentenced to five years for rape, along with 80 hours of rehabilitation.
The court ruled both Choi Jong Hoon and Jung Joon Young guilty of gang rape through evidence from chat logs and victims’ statements.
Reports state that both Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon stayed silent throughout the trial and only burst into tears after hearing their sentence.
On December 4, Choi Jong Hoon filed for an appeal to his sentence to the Seoul Central District Court. Burning Sun “Kim” also submitted an appeal for his sentence while Jung Joon Young has not appealed his sentence.
