Why Gong Yoo Picked “Goblin” As His Life’s Work
On October 4, Gong Yoo and Jung Yu Mi were interviewed in KBS TV‘s “Entertainment Weekly” for their upcoming movie Kim Ji Young, Born in ’82.
When asked to name the “role of his lifetime,” Gong Yoo chose the award-winning drama Goblin.
The first thing I thought of when I heard ‘role of my lifetime’ is ‘Goblin.’ It was a drama that allowed me to show a lot of things. As an actor, I was able to show seriousness, affection, sadness, and comedy.

He even joked that because he played the role of a god, he felt like the world belonged to him.
