MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa And Lovelyz‘s Kei teamed up for the vocal performance round of Mnet‘s “Queendom”.

The two were a dynamic duo that easily became partners. Hwasa revealed her feelings towards Kei, saying they were already friends to begin with.
Kei is a friend I feel comfortable with. I thought that she might be shy, but she leads me. She approached me as if she wanted to say, ‘You’re mine.” That kind of approach made it easier to choose a partner. I thought, ‘It’s her.’

The two captivated the audience with their jazz-like stage, singing Billie Eilish‘s “Wish You Were Gay.”

Hwasa and Kei were one of the three vocal units that performed, the others being Hyojung and Park Bom with “Scarecrow” and Minnie and Hyejeong with “Instagram.”
