BTS Revealed To Have Raised Mattel’s Sales Revenue Significantly

BTS collaborated with Mattel for their own line of dolls earlier this year. Not only did the brand gain traction on social media with many ARMYs clamoring to buy the line, but their sales increased as well.

It was reported by news organization Reuters that BTS lifted international sales by a staggering amount.

Mattel’s international gross sales rose 10% to $721.7 million, lifted by sales of dolls based on Korean boy band BTS, which has dominated international music charts.

Analysts had expected the brand’s sales to fall by 0.5% but instead, their third-quarter net sales rose 3% to $1.48 billion from 2018.

This is not the first time BTS has proven their power as influencers, with the members constantly selling out items that they either use directly or mention indirectly.
