Mnet Confirms “2019 MAMA” Venue And Schedule
Mnet has confirmed that the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards will be held on December 4, 2019 in the Nagoya Dome, Nagoya, Japan. It will be the first time since 2016 that the awards will be held at only one venue and date.
Mnet will be bringing MAMA to a Japan Dome for the first time, and are doing it even though there are currently tensions between Korea and Japan.
They decided that even though there are tensions between the two countries right now, cultural events and exchanges should be held independent of political issues.
True to the name, the MAMA’s have become the greatest music awards show. We will continue to make efforts to make K-Pop and Asian music a mainstream genre in the world, beyond the boundaries of country and culture.

The 2018 MAMA’s were held in 3 venues, Seoul, South Korea, Saitama, Japan, and Hong Kong.
