BTS Wins The Global Phenom Award At The 2019 ARDYs
BTS won an award at the 2019 ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration (formerly known as the Radio Disney Music Awards).
On June 17th, the award show took place. BTS were unable to attend the ceremony but were awarded the Global Phenom award. Last year the group won Best Duo/Group, Best Dance Track and Best Song That Makes You Smile while ARMY won Fiercest Fans.
A source from Big Hit Entertainment explained the significance of the award:
The Global Phenom award was created and awarded for the first time this year. It is to commemorate BTS’s great influence in the global pop industry due to their music, fashion, dancing and more.
