B.A.P Member Himchan’s Sexual Assault Case Forwarded To Court
Former B.A.P member Himchan‘s sexual assault case has been forwarded to court.
Himchan was charged without detention for indecent assault in April. He is suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20’s at a pension in Namyangju-si on July 24, 2018. Himchan participated in an alcohol gathering with his acquaintances including 3 men and 3 women. The woman, A, later called the police who reported to the scene.
During police investigations, A claimed that she was “sexually assaulted” while Himchan denied accusations, claiming that they were both interested in each other.
After reviewing statements from testifiers, the police have acknowledged the sexual assault charges and prosecuted Himchan without detention.
Meanwhile, Himchan’s trial will begin on July 12.
