This Indonesian Boy Group Blatantly Plagiarized BTS, NCT 127, ASTRO & Stray Kids
Indonesian boy group C’BOYS just released a song called “o.D (Overdose)”, and they definitely overdosed on taking other people’s music.
In the details regarding the song, only Fadlysams and Purpleducktape were given credit. There was no mention of all the songs they’d used.
The intro of their song copies the exact intro of NCT 127‘s “Cherry Bomb”.
The verses copy Stray Kids‘ “My Pace”.
It uses the instrumentals of ASTRO‘s “All Night” for its chorus.
And, the outro is all BTS‘s “Fake Love”.
Fans have even pointed out that the photo used for the song copied the same pose as WayV‘s “Take Off” teaser photo. But, both were released recently and could’ve been prepared in advance. So, it was most likely pure coincidence.
There doesn’t seem to be any mention of the song being a cover. So, it appears to be completely plagiarized. You can check out C’BOYS’ song from start to finish here and decide for yourself.
