DJ Snake Possibly Confirmed That A Collab With BLACKPINK Is Happening

DJ Snake held a mini Q&A session in his Instagram comments on May 14 and amidst all of his answers he revealed that he just might be collaborating with BLACKPINK soon.

To a fan who asked “Will you make a song with Blackpink?” DJ Snake replied “Yes”.

So far it is unknown whether this was a hypothetical “yes,” or an actual confirmation of a collab, but DJ Snake working with BLACKPINK wouldn’t be a totally farfetched idea. Not only are BLACKPINK the hottest girl group in the world right now, but DJ Snake attended their In Your Area World Tour in LA back in April. In a picture posted to his Twitter he can be seen holding his finger to his lips as the girls look like they know something we don’t know. (Hmm…)

Earlier this year, CL was revealed to have been the original singer on DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s 2016 hit “Let Me Love You”. As CL and BLACKPINK are both signed to YG Entertainment, this makes a collab seem even more possible.

DJ Snake will also not only be releasing a new album soon, but he will also be performing at EDC Korea in August. This would give him the perfect opportunity and venue to debut and/or perform this new BLACKPINK collaboration. Whatever the actual details are we’ll have to wait and see, but it seems like BLACKPINK might not be DJ Snake’s only K-Pop collaboration to come: To a fan who asked if he’d collab with BTS, he replied “Why not”. Still not any confirmation, but at least we know it’s possible!
