Yong Junhyung Secretly Enlists In The Military Amidst Seungri’s Scandal
Yong Junhyung, a former member of Highlight, quietly enlisted in the military today without any notice to press or fans. Once his enlistment ceremony ended, his agency released a statement to the press confirming his enlistment.
His agency explained that Yong Junhyung wanted to enlist without any details revealed. Only his family and agency staff were present during his time of enlistment.

Today (2nd) Highlight’s former member, Yong Junhyung, joined the 23rd Division as a new recruit. At noon, his family and agency staff members quietly bid him farewell during his enlistment, and he pledged to be a faithful and exemplary military service worker.
Yong Junhyun wanted to enlist quietly, so we ask that you understand why we did not release the location and time of his enlistment.

Yong Junhyung was recently caught up in the Seungri Scandal when he was revealed to have been one of the members in the infamous chatroom where multiple celebrities spread illegal footage of women and made comments that degraded women. He initially denied the accusations but later admitted to knowing the chatrooms existed and officially resigned from his group.
Yong Junhyung will now be serving as a military service worker for the next few years.
