BTS Receive A Nomination For The 2019 Billboard Music Awards
Exciting news, ARMY! BTS have been nominated for another BBMA, in a whole new category.
In 2017 and 2018, BTS won the award for “Top Social Artists”. Although fans were happy about these wins, many hoped that BTS would receive a nomination based on their music, not just their popularity. That wish may be granted at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.
On April 4, Billboard announced their list of nominees. BTS have been nominated for “Top Group/Duo”, which is an achievement for them and for K-Pop as a whole. BTS are the first Korean act to be nominated in this category.
