LOONA’s Olivia Hye May Hold The Record For The Briefest Training Period Ever
LOONA recently made a guest appearance on the MBC radio show, Ji Suk Jin’s 2 O’Clock Date and answered some insightful questions such as how much the group eats.
A very interesting revelation emerged when Ji Suk Jin asked the girls which member joined first and which member joined last. HyunJin answered the question saying “I joined first and Olivia Hye joined last”.
Olivia Hye confirmed what HyunJin said, adding:
I was a trainee for exactly one day. After training for that one day, I debuted. I had seen HyunJin unnie on TV before, and then we debuted together so it was very cool.

Olivia Hye may have spent the shortest time training before debut ever, spending just one day as a trainee. Judging from Olivia’s solo song, “Egoist”, she clearly didn’t need a lot of training because she was so talented!

LOONA is currently making headway in the American market, their new EP “[X X]” debuted on Billboard’s World Album Charts at #4.
