Seoul City Announces Limited Edition BTS Passes For Foreigners Only

Seoul City has something exciting in store for international BTS fans: limited edition passes!

The “Discover Seoul Pass” is a special travel card that allows tourists to experience many benefits, including experiencing over 30 popular tourist attractions for free, and receiving discounts for performances and duty-free shops.

On February 19, Yonhap News reported that Seoul City will be making 100,000 limited edition Discover Seoul Passes featuring BTS. These special passes will be exclusively for foreigners, and they are part of the Seoul Metropolitan Government‘s plans to boost tourism.

Tour buses with BTS’s photos will also be available, as part of this promotion.

Both the passes and tour buses will go public ahead of the 100th Korean National Sports Festival, which will be held in Seoul from Oct. 4-10, 2019. A BTS performance at the festival’s opening ceremony is anticipated, but this has not yet been confirmed by Big Hit Entertainment.
