BIGBANG’s Seungri Resigns From His Executive Position At Aori Ramen

News reports confirmed that BIGBANG‘s Seungri resigned from his post as an executive director at his Japanese ramen restaurant chain, Aori Ramen. Seungri’s name was taken off of Aori FNB’s certificate of registration, starting on February 4th.

Seungri had opened his first Aori Ramen restaurant in December 2016, but it soon grew exponentially and now has over 50 locations in multiple different countries.

Seungri also recently resigned from his executive director position at Burning Sun, a club in Gangnam that is currently being under investigation for claims of assault, rape, drugs, and corruption.

Although it is uncertain why Seungri decided to resign from these posts, Yang Hyun Suk had previously mentioned that Seungri was getting his businesses in order in preparation for his upcoming military enlistment set for March or April.

“The reason Seungri resigned from his position as director of the club was in order to comply with the regulations of military enlistment as he was planning to enlist in the military in March or April.”

Seungri will continue on with his solo concert in Seoul on the 16th and 17th.
