Jennie and Irene Were Literally Inseparable at Gaon Chart Music Awards

On January 23, the 8th Gaon Chart Music Awards took place which was joined by groups such as Red Velvet, BLACKPINK, TWICE, iKON, MOMOLAND, and (G)I-dle.

What drew the fans’ particular attention was the warm friendship displayed by Jennie and Irene.

Following the awards ceremony, all of the stars gathered to take a group photo together.

When they gathered, BLACKPINK and Red Velvet sat next to each other and posed.

In addition, Jennie and Irene made a heart with each of their hands for an adorable shot.

Another shot shows Jennie sitting in Irene’s lap with an expression that suggests that she was whining about something.

This isn’t the first time fans noticed their close friendship.

They have been known to be close for quite some time, and in a past airing of Show! Music Core, they even danced a key move of each other’s songs in their own performances.

It’s good to see that their friendship is still unchanged.
