EXO‘s Kai‘s father passed away May 7, 2018 and Kai is now at the mortuary, grieving his loss.

His teammates and agency associates are visiting to send condolences to Kai.

An SM Entertainment associate reported, “Kai’s father passed away due to a chronic illness.”

“Kai’s family would like to hold the funeral privately, with family and relatives only.” — SM Entertainment

The agency sent condolences and asked that Kai and his family are given time to recover from this loss.

“Please be considerate of the family. May Kai’s father’s soul rest in peace.” — SM Entertainment
