Here Are All The New Korean Variety Shows That You Need To Watch

Come this summer, Korean TV channels will be premiering brand new shows that are unique, fun, and celebrity-filled! Check out these nine most anticipated shows to begin as early as May. Which one are you excited about?

1. Where Is It? (거기가 어딘데)

Where Is It? is an adventure show by popular variety show producer Yoo Ho Jin who also created 1 Night, 2 Days. The show features actors Cha Tae Hyun, Ji Jin Hee, model Bae Jeong Nam, and comedian Jo Se Ho.

This first group of celebrities to shoot the show went to Oman and explored the Arabian Desert. The stars safely returned to Korea after their sandy adventure, building anticipation for the show’s production and premiere.

2. Unexpected Q (뜻밖의 Q)

Unexpected Q, by producer Choi Hang Ho who also created I Live Alone and We Got Married, will be filling Infinite Challenge‘s time slot on Saturday evenings, starting May 5, 2018. The show will quiz its hosts and guests in unexpected situations and conditions.

TV personalities Jun Hyun Moo and Lee Soo Geun will be hosting this new show, and the first episode is set to feature several K-Pop idols including BTOB‘s Eunkwang and TWICE‘s Dahyun.

3. Busted (범인은 바로 너)

Busted has been receiving a lot of attention as comedian Yoo Jae Suk‘s newest variety show. Created as a Netflix original, the show is expected to gain plenty of international interest. K-Pop stars like EXO‘s Sehun and gugudan‘s Sejeong will appear on the show, attracting idol fan bases to watch as well.

Busted is a mystery show, led by a group of celebrity investigators formed to solve a murder incident. It is scheduled to premiere May 4, 2018!
